Terms and Conditions

Deposit - Upon confirmation of booking a 25% deposit is required within 7 days to secure your booking.

Security bond - A security bond of $150 or 50% of the total hire fee (whichever is greater) will be charged to cover any breakages or damages that may occur. This bond if fully refundable upon the return of items in pre hire condition. If there are any breakages or damages we will contact you within 48-72 hours after receiving/collecting and inspecting your items, with the breakages, damages or cleaning costs either deducted from the security bond or invoiced separately (when in excess of the security deposit). 

Final payment - The remaining invoice amount, plus the security bond (detailed above), is required 14 days before your event and be paid by bank transfer. If discussed prior to the event date, a cash balance can be made on the day of collection/delivery.

Cancellation Policy - If the booking is cancelled by the hirer, we will refund your deposit in full if given 14 days notice. If less than 14 days notice is given, we will be unable to refund your 25% deposit.

Hire period - If otherwise arranged, the general hire period of our items is three nights. Clients are welcome to have their orders on the Friday and return on the Monday, or the day prior to the event and return the following day if servicing a mid-week function.

Hire terms - Unless otherwise arranged, the hire cost of goods, for the agreed hire duration, is based upon the pick up and return by the client from our base on Stock Road, Mylor. Delivery and pick-up by Fossick and Forge Event Hire can be arranged during the initial quoting stage for a fee calculated on event location, the type and quantity of hire items, ease of venue access and vehicles required.

Delivery and Pick up - The quoted delivery and pick up price is based upon safe and proper access to and from the event site. Delivery will be made as close as possible to the required location; however, if vehicles access is restricted, and staff need to carry items an excessive distance, additional fees will be incurred and will be deducted from the security bond. Transport fees are based upon delivery and pick up to street level. Delivery of items includes delivery, pickup, loading and unloading - it does not include the setup or styling of the hire items. If require, setup can be quoted on during the initial booking process.

Hire conditions - It is the hirers responsibility to ensure all hired stock is stored, pre and post event, in a secure and undercover/enclosed waterproof space. Failure to do so will result in the loss of security bond. Items are not to be set up during wet weather. All goods must be packed back into their designated containers and packaging in a complete and clean state.

Liability - Fossick and Forge Event Hire will accept no responsibility for any injury or damage to any persons caused by items hired and we will accept no liability arising from any event involving or concerning hire items. Items are hired solely under the hirer's responsibility.

Payment of deposit indicates your acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
